GrandCinemas is a mobile phone application that you can use in your BlackBerry to check the movies playing in your favorite cinema halls of the city, read reviews and book tickets

GrandCinemas can be easily installed following the simple steps below direct to your BlackBerry or by using BlackBerry Desktop Manager:

• Download the Grand Cinemas BlackBerry App direct to your mobile

OR

1. Download the Grand Cinemas BlackBerry App
2. Run BlackBerry Desktop Manager (Available in BlackBerry's CD)
   (Start menu -> Programs ->BlackBerry ->Desktop Manager)
3. Connect BlackBerry to PC, using the USB cable provided
4. Click 'Application Loader' on Desktop Manager
5. Then Click 'Start' button.
6. Click 'Browse' button, and select .cod file. Now, "GrandCinemas" will be shown in the list.
7. Select the checkbox with the application name.
8. Click Next button and then Finish.

The application will be loaded in BlackBerry.

While at home page of BlackBerry mobile;
1. Press 'menu' button.

2. Navigate to 'Downloads', and select it.

3. Navigate to 'GrandCinemas' application and select it.

The application starts.

The application starts loading and home page will be visible.

GrandCinemas is a user friendly application with little complexity in finding a movie, a suitable cinema and booking a ticket.

The Home Page contains a list of Now Showing, Coming Soon, Buy ETicket and Location Map.
Choose 'Now Showing', to see the list of 'Now Showing' movies, and the Cinemas.
Choose 'Coming Soon' to see the list of upcoming movies.
Choose 'Buy eTicket' to buy eTicket for a selected movie.
Choose 'Location Map' to see the location of each Cinema.


Home Page (and all other pages) also contain list of advertisements [LG Mobile in the picture].

The Now-Showing page contains list of Cinema names.
It also contains navigation buttons to move directly to other pages like 'Home', 'Coming Soon', 'Buy eTicket' and 'Location Map'.
'Back' Button can be used to move to the previous page.

Notes:

• Cinema Names are categorized based on cities (locations).
• If the Cinema has the facility to give 'eTickets' then the cinema name will be superscripted by 'e' (in red color)

On selecting a Cinema name, all the movies playing in that selected cinema will be listed.

The movie list is categorized based on Language.
On selecting a movie name, detailed description of the selected movie will be displayed.

The 'Starring' button shows actors of the movie.
The 'Synopsis' button shows brief description of the movie.
The 'ShowTime' button shows show time of the move in the selected Cinema

Note:

• If the selected cinema has the facility to give eTickets, then 'Buy eTicket' button will be shown in the details page. On clicking the button, the application will move directly to ‘eTicket‘ page, with selected cinema and selected movie.

The Coming Soon page contains list of movies that are yet-to release. It also contains navigation buttons to move directly to other pages like 'Home', 'Now Showing', 'Buy eTicket' and 'Location Map'.

On selecting a move name, detailed page will be displayed to show 'Director', 'Duration', 'Release Date' etc. It also shows starring and synopsis of the selected movie.

The eTicket page contains a list of cinemas, list of movies, and list of show times.
It also contains navigation buttons to move directly to other pages like 'Home', 'Coming Soon', 'Now Showing', and 'Location Map'.

On selecting a cinema name, all movies in the selected cinema will be listed in the Movie list. Select a movie from the list. Show times of the selected movie in the selected cinema will be listed in ShowTime list. Select a Show time. The rate will be displayed against corresponding seat count lists.

Select required seat counts , press 'Check Availability' button and wait. A maximum of only 10 seats can be selected for a transaction. If seats are available, seat numbers will be displayed.

On pressing ‘Confirm Selection' button, Payment page will be displayed.

Fill-up required fields, (with valid email ID & valid name) .

Press 'Buy Now' button and wait for server response.

Note:

The payment page has a time out of 5 minutes, since the last ‘Confirm Selection' on ‘Ordering Ticket' Page is done.

This page displays a list of Cinemas. It also contains navigation buttons to move directly to other pages like 'Home', 'Coming soon', 'Buy ETicket' and 'Now Showing' pages.
On selecting one Cinema name, its location details will be displayed.
